if jast, g-collections or Pea pri released it, i own it, with 1 exception… i dont have water closet… wont ever… I have Dor, but g-collections gave it to me free after mis-placing my order…

I also own original copies of Love Story, Gin-Iro (with the quasi-translation) (u have NO idea how hard that was to find) and i have viper paradise that i won in a contest (it was ceased by customs for inspection and took like 6 months to get to me… but i did get it eventually)

I try to be like this as much as possible, but there are some games I just plain don’t want anything to do with. Also, I have yet to get a new one since Apr 2008, but that’ll be remedied soon this year after more titles release, so I can buy a few at once. I’m looking at Princess Waltz, Cosplay Fetish Academy, Family Project, and maybe finally get around to buying Casual Romance Club.

Cripes, that’s more than I thought I had… These are games I’ve bought though, they don’t include the really old titles I downloaded like a decade ago, such as Divi-Dead, Immoral Study, Gloria etc etc.

Currently waiting for Downhill Nights to get finished and put up as digital download, since I’ve stopped buying physical game copies completely and only buy digitally from Steam, Impulse, GoG etc, and of course Jast/PP. Just can’t be arsed with having to keep the discs and boxes around anymore, my shelves are full already and I’ve got cardboard boxes scattered here and there with old games in them, and finding a game when I want to play it is a massive pain in the arse (and one cardboard box is completely awol). So I’m a digital download only man these days. Of course, not having to pay international shipping and customs and sales tax on imported games is a big bonus as well, not to mention getting the game in about 1-2 hours as opposed to 1-2 weeks (depending on how quickly customs release it).

Maybe it’s only an urban legend, but I have heard that keeping your game discs in a vertical position slows the ravages of time :? :

Ironically, most games in my (MUCH smaller) collection are now a bunch of electrons, therefore I ignore if the vertical position has really helped after all :lol: …

I think that part is probably an urban legend. The problem CDs and DVDs in the ink, which is why a cool, dry area is good. Only the oldest of CDs has had irrecoverable data on it, though cheap CD-Rs are more prone to data loss.

Best bet for long-term storage: sold state drives
