To live is to struggle.

Am I able to post on these forums?

Someone needs to make those Yandere Drama CD’s into an anime, like yesterday.

At least it gives an idea of how a yandere harem would work.

Heh, I only read that now.

Interesting idea, but public transportation just hasn’t caught on in the U.S. and I doubt it will anytime soon.

Avast, ye scurvy sea dog scalawags! Today do be International Talk Like a PIRRRRATE Day, and I do not be seein’ no parrots or no peg-legs!

Dunno if anyone’s posted this here before, or what, but: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_BMgegut3UM

Someone needs to make this movie real soon now.

Steve Jobs died today. Shame that all the money he made couldn’t be used to make a cybernetic body for him. He could’ve called it the iBorg.

That … wasn’t unexpected, given the history of health issues he has had. But I didn’t think it would follow so rapidly after his resignation as CEO.

I’m not much of a fan of his modern company or the products they make, but the Apple II pretty much set the standard for the 8-bit home computers of the 80s, which were an important part of personal computer history. Playing Ultima 4 on the Apple //e pretty much made me interested in computers, computer games and game development all at once. R.I.P.

Same goes for me. I remember quite fondly taking every chance I could when I was in elementary school to play games on the Apple computers.

Am I the only one that does not give a damn for his[jobs] death nor his company?

I felt that way to Michael Jackson when he died, since I have no interest in him other than his music. I guess it’s natural, plus every blog is all over the map with with Steve Jobs love. Still, he was as important as it gets in tech.

I am not and never have been an fan of Apple, but I do think it is sad to see a brilliant and creative man die at such a relatively young age. However, I do think it should be acknowledged that his legacy is a bit of a double-edged sword, as this NYT article points out.

Yes that is true.

Only time will tell how bad/good it will be.

Have you noticed that Peter Payne is posting a lot lately (first time in MANY years, I think)?
Is this a secret plan to revitalize a BBS grown pretty boring :stuck_out_tongue: , or Lamuness and Shingo are gone awol or worse? :?

Originally I wasn’t going to post this to the board, but since people are speculating I don’t see how it can hurt to answer.

I actually sort of know Shingo personally, and I talked to him about the posted J-list job opportunity. It was finding a replacement for Shingo, cause he was leaving. Other than that, I’m not sure how much is supposed to be confidential … but yeah, I expect that’s why Peter is all of a sudden posting so much

A secret plan to revitalize the BBS sounds much cooler, though. Perhaps the best way to do that would be to announce the international localization of Neco-Arc: The Movie?

Thanks for sharing this, and say a “???” to Shingo from me  .

However I would like to see that secret plan implemented soon 8) …

So the rumors that the industry is expanding were not true (Jast hiring new staff and all that). At least it’s not shrinking.

I like how expansion and shrinking are determined by 1 job position
