Pre-ordering

I was thinking, for us who preordered titles… dont ya think we deserve some betas of the games? (i know this wont happen) but we only get free shipping (awww) and i think we deserve far more… like maybe one of them asian marriage programs… (we preorder and we are instantly married to a catgirl(maybe an elf-girl) or something) (hey it could happen)(mcworld!) ok maybe not but… the point im trying to make is amazon and dvdplanet offer up to 30% off preorders hint (just trying to help marketing here a bit…)

Oh and by the way i was kidding about the foreign marriage thingy (or was I)
puts pinky finger to the corner of his mouth

Amazon and DVD Planet are also public companies and can afford to do something like that if the product performs below expectations. Peach Princess, I believe, is still a private company and would be unable to do that at this time. I'd like to see some thing along the lines of what Animeigo did for the Macross box set preorder. They offered Discount levels per the number of preorders obtained. (Because the more orders, the more they could spread the DVD printing costs over the Number of orders.)

. It'd be fun if that was the case. Ah, the throught of getting married to a cute cat-girl and a beautiful elf.. *dool*

Hm, any idea of where to seek to find any of those? For real,? .

Are you not running into legal problems with bigamy? Perhaps, you should make up your mind...
Also, wasn't there someone other? *Jedimidtrick cracks, but still remains* Aaah, can't quite remember.

Hmmm. Maybe, you want to be calles Spectator Saotome, for building your own harem of fiancees?

*pales visibly* No, thank you very much. Ranma seems to gain more troubles than fun because of his many fianceÈs. If I'm going to have more than one fiancÈe, then I'd at least want them to get along with each other, or else... *shudder at the very throught* (But it'd be fun for sure to see the cat-girl react like Merle did in Escaflowne when they were both in bed when the elf-girl made any attemts at... um... tempt me ).

Hmm, really? I didn't know they had done that. Any idea how well that idea worked out?

They had over 5000 preorders which gave everyone the max discount on it.

Ok fine… if we cant get a cat-girl cant we at least get some cat-girl games? hehe

Actually they had over 10k preorders as I was one of preorderers The people who preordered also got a special 3D lenticular card (basically one of the 3d hologram things that looks like the picture moves when you tilt the card) I think PP should give us free gifts if we preorder

Naah, we'd get in trouble for prostitution. And no "free orgasm oath with every purchase" either.

Las Vegas has legal prostitution. But using the orgasm oath will come at a cost.

Well, that's pretty good then. Interesting marketing strategy. And at least it sounds like it more than payed off.

wait! how bout pre-orders done through the peapri site are all entered into a drawing… and 1 name is picked and that person wins a free game!

Come on u nuked my cat-girl idea,
toasted my elf-girl idea, hated everyone elses idea… im just trying to give u ideas for marketing…

(ok that and umm im bored as hell after watching the patriots annihilate the steelers (aww well least they won)

Oh and also im trying to get something free… so my motives are lame, stupid, retarded and maybe even childish… but in the end… they are american… something for nothing.

A drawing would be a way to try and increase sales. A game would be nice but there's also quite a number of other things that I think would be worth it. (Maybe one of the shirts or something.)

That was pretty bad. Happy I'm not a Steelers fan. (My dad's still annoyed at Dallas' performance the other night.)

since technically this is about preordering im just trying to confirm something…
Rightstuf has Little MY Maid listed for october 31… how accurate is that date?

Eeeeeehh? Naaaaaniiii?

Hmmm. Sice we are here at the PeaPri-board, that announcement from Rightstuff could either mean a reprint of the japanese original, or it has to be a hoax (as much as I want to believe, it's true).
If PeaPri is supposed to release the game, how could Rightstuff know about the date earlier than PeaPri themselves?
(Or is this the reason for the missing newsletter? (naah, just kidding, they would'nt do THAT to us, right? Right? RIGHT?))

not trying to ruin anything incase it was meant to be a surprise… but it says 39.95, and its made by peach princess…

Well, if I recall correctly, the last tentative announcements for LMM aimed for this year in fall.

But after all the bad news (Japanese staff still searching for the original code, a.s.o.), I thought fall in next year was more likely.
After the better news, Lamuness posted in the thread after AXNY, I got my hopes regarding LMM up again and thought, it might happen in march, just one year, after the last release of a Sweet Basil game (Critical Point RE).

However, end of october this year sounds pretty unrealistic, because even if a lesser miracle had happened in japan, the game should first been tested before finally being released.
Testing Little my Maid should be quite a task, that may only be surpassed by testing BS (and look, how long this takes), because it is no simple choose-your-path-adventure, but a hybrid of an adventure and a sim (the kind of game, TS was supposed to be and TL really was, but even better regarding the influence of the sim-counters on the story).
So, I won’t believe anything, before I have read it in the PeaPri-newsletter…

I believe that RightStuf was just going by one of the other projected dates and it’s not a confirmed date. The indications have been that XC2 and Brave Soul will be out prior to LMM and I really doubt all three would be out by the end of next month.
