Refresh my memory, Lamuness...

There is not enough talking going on in this thread.

Who here has played Fire Emblem for GBA? It’s easily the hardest TRPG I’ve ever played.

Ed Wood strikes again!

You know, I actually watched Plan 9 from Outer Space once. It was pretty baaaaaad stuff. How did he get the money to make that … thing?

Sorry that I have to tell this here and now.

But a personal emergency makes me retreat from every online-activity. So, I fear I have to say that this is goodbye.

No, it doesn’t have anything to do with V-Mate. It is just bad timing, but Nande should be able to confirm that I have other reasons for leaving right now.

I also still may remain as a lurker, though.

Thank you for all the good and the very few rough times, minna-san!

Like… forever???

NOOOOO! The one who said it (can’t remember who, and connection is too slow to find out) was right, we are losing all our veterans!

I now have an announcement of my own to make.

I’m quitting this message board for some time. Don’t know exactly how long yet.

I’m tired of the board’s current attitude. We’re not friends anymore. We’re not discussing bishoujo games anymore.
The board has become a hostile place where we’re all at each other’s throats about V-Mate.

So, goodbye for now.

I’d like to thank Unicorn for his many contributions to the forum. He has been especially helpful to people interested in Japanese titles over the years. Check the Japanese Bishoujo Game Reviews board and you’ll find some of the most thorough, unbiased bishoujo game reviews anywhere.

I’m not sure what his reasons are for saying goodbye. It could be due to pressure from home or work. Sometimes people don’t feel they’re getting the recognition or thanks they deserve and become discouraged. Sometimes they they are unhappy because the membership and general tenor of the group seems to be changing.

Just remember that this forum is what we make of it. It’s not about making a name for ourselves or gathering a following. It’s a place where we can meet and discuss the most important issues facing the industry and community. It’s also the most adult discussion group for b-games I’ve found - and I mean that in the sense of maturity level. Sometimes we hit a rough spot in the water, but the boat eventually rights itself and we continue sailing. Try not to get discouraged and abandon ship.

It’s kind of amazing when you realize that this discussion thread started just a few months after Unicorn joined in May 2002 (and a few months before I joined)!

I guess the era of the veterans has really ended :frowning: Unicorn-san left, and both ekylo-san and spectator beholder-san have rarely showed themselves lately. With this about half of old members have left, maybe more.

But does that mean they have all left b-game?Because if that’s so then our base members are getting scarce day by day.Anybody can comfirm it?

I'm sorry, I don't quite get this. What do you mean?

So sad that so many peopl had left. Just as I decide to post here again too.

You. I kindof remember you. But I don’t know if it was just from reading your posts or I was actually here while you were still here. Misuterii.

I can’t remember either. I move countries a couple of times. I was here since very close to the beginning. I lurker more than I post due to my traveling nature back when I was working in Hong Kong.

I can’t remember what I had said in the past. Can’t be important since I can’t remember.

I kinda of settle back in Perth in Australia now. Working and studying. I almost had a chance to meet Lamuness in real life when he was traveling in SE asia. However, he came at a critical time during the company moving operations to a different country.

I did take a photo of the cardboard box I lived in Hong Kong and posted them here. With some of my toys everywhere.

I’m Libertarian. Yay! Why do I say that? Because I want people to take the World’s Smallest Political Quiz. I’m just curious where people stand. My political curiosity’s reached it’s peak on election day. And will drop a thousand fold by tomorrow.

World’s Smallest Political Quiz

Another Libertarian, here .

CENTRIST

Person at 50%
Economic at 70%

I am a CENTRIST. Funny that.

Personal at 60%; economic at 30%.

Of course I answered ‘maybe’ to most of the questions, because blanket generalizations are almost always false. If I forget the annoying exceptions that mean there are never easy answers, and answer based on what I think is mostly true…

then I am a LIBERAL LIBERTARIAN. Personal 90%, economic 50%.

Interesting.

LIBERTARIAN all the way.

Heh, I can remember when we voted on this quiz in the Libertarian mailing list many years ago (before www). The idea was to print copies and pass them out as a recruitment tool.

Funny thing about the Libertarians, they haven’t had a visionary leader since Ayn Rand. They’re divided into too many factions. Some favor grass roots activity and some advocate a traditional political party to sponsor candidates for national elections. They never seem to make much progress though.

I’m back. Though I never really left, at least in the department of lurking. Just couldn’t stay away.

I maintain my stance though: I would like us to stop fighting over Virtual Mate, and get back to where we were. Grr.

I am a centrist. 60% on both things.

Ah, America’s tax dollars at work…

Air Force report.

Yes, I don't get lee7 sp34|< that's why it looks like nonsense. I feel dumber for trying to type it already.

That's not 1337. It's ASCII art.

Are you kidding us?

(...)

Instead we have "Sailor Moon" and "Dragon Ball Z"?

Dragon Ball is not the same thing as Dragon Ball Z.
