This is for the Steam Forums, but I think it can be applied to any BBS. This is something I think many people should reference for years to come.

Posting and You

I hate to say this but not everybody has ( or uses ) the plugins to display your post.

PS. That $%&! TV test pattern has my computer in B&W and full of snow. * Kicks computer to get the picture back *

The slideshow was cute, but the tone was a little condescending. Veterans don’t need it, and newbies aren’t likely to find it in the middle of this discussion. Still, I agree with the sentiments and wish newcomers were given a FAQ for the board before being allowed to post. That probably won’t happen because of PP’s “open door” policy. Maybe that’s just as well. We need a relaxed atmosphere to attract newcomers.

I just found it humorous because it reminded me of all those Simpsons school education reels Krabappel and Lisa’s teacher shows.

Who is Miss Hoover. It took me a day to remember, but I knew I would remember Lisa’s teacher’s name because I was trying to figure out what name Ralph says during that episode when the teachers go on strike.

LOL!
That was great.

I’m going to post that on another board!

I now have the BBS in my bookmarks!
Gone are my days of going through the Peach Princess site to reach it! Yeah, those huge visitor counts, that was me.

And now, for something completely different. The evil cybernetic fly catching machine!

I don't know why, but for some reason this reminds me of that movie, "*batteries not included."

I must have seen that movie 10 times when I was a kid; I can't recall what attracted me so much to the movie, but I rather liked it.

So I'm browing the net and I find this link: http://www.aoml.noaa.gov/hrd/tcfaq/C5c.html

People ask this question a lot? Really? I can't imagine anyone seriously thinking this is a good idea.

Hey, is something going on with Nutech Digital lately? It’s like they’re getting rid of their hentai stock and are trying to replace them with Music DVDs. Like classical and rap stuff. In their top picks section, there’s only a few shows listed like Depravity and 2x1.

Well, my mailbox is always open if they need a place to trash it.

I don’t know, but apparently Nutech announced a bunch of stuff that they don’t have the rights to.

… One has to wonder just how, exactly, things like this happen.

I bet he was secretly trying to overthrow the government, but his TV Doomsday device was throwing off the wrong signal and he just played it off as a freak of nature.

And now for something completely different.

So why do they say that it’s a monster?

Damn, that’s pretty big. Really odd looking, too.

Hey, it’s an American version dating sim. And has the ingredients to moisturize. Wow…

This one is all about the touch, baby.

Hey, that’s pretty cool. I’ll have to wait and see what they come up with.

Of coruse, it all comes down to the writing; and they’ve said there are 50 people to work on? Sounds kind of…suspect.

I still would like an answer to this previous post.

I don't know, but I presume it is called a monster because it is much much bigger than usual.

For those of you who didn’t have the chance to see it, or for those who want to see it again, Posting and You is back, at AlbinoBlackSheep!
