so here’s another interesting tidbit/update about brian, which is so fucked up it isn’t even funny
he is now pursuing his ex-girlfriend Marnie, who really badly stomped all over his heart and broke it into tiny little pieces about five years ago, even though he has been given advice from numerous sources that she has not changed and has in fact gotten worse at breaking guy’s hearts and being fucked up…he says that he knows he may get hurt but he just 'feels like she is his soulmate’
does this strike anyone else as incredibly odd? personally, when someone stomps all over me and my heart, i come to the conclusion that they are NOT my soulmate…and yes, i am crying again, because it hurts a lot that he would go to someone else so quickly after me and that it would be HER of all people
yes, it seems kind of odd. It also doesn’t seem too bright. I have a feeling he is allowing his emotions to cloud his judgement. I am sorry that he is still causing you pain. We are here for you. We love you. We will never abandon you.
It looks like, he wants to get hurt (you know the right word for that, right?).
Maybe, it is a good time for you, to make up your mind about what you are going to do, if he turns back from her to you, crying?

Geez, this sounds like two of my friend during elementary school. They had that kind of thinking about each other and were together for about 3-4 years... and during these years, they hurt each other repatly so terribly that sometimes, it almost hurt to watch them (not to mention that they hurt those of us who were their friends soemwha ttoo in th eprocess, since they kinda used us to hurt each other to some extent)... But despite that, they refused to let go of each other, until they at least parted.

Actually, it doesn't strike me as odd, just stupid. It happens alot. Some people are really good at lying to themselves, or denial in general. A couple of my friends have complained about how they always pick the "bad ones" and are always getting hurt by them but usually a week or two later, are hooking up with some old ex, which just makes me want to slap them. And then the ex breaks up with them again and it's back to feelings of extreme violence for me against the ex...

Actually, it doesn't strike me as odd at all. It strikes me as being diagnosable. He's being self-destructive. Is he on antidepressants? Has he stopped taking them if he is?

Hmm, I think the difference between an evil eye and a mad gleam is that the first scares the hell ou tof people, while the second just makes you look kinda crazy [img]http://princess.cybrmall.net/ubb/biggrin.gif[/img]. But the second won't scare anyone, unless you are like Dilandau (Escaflowne) or Alucard (Hellsing) [img]http://princess.cybrmall.net/ubb/wink.gif[/img].
