Just kidding. Sorry to hear about your car Unicorn-san. I guess it'd depend on the situation on getting a new one. In Chicago, I was able to make do without a car since I lived near to work and the public transport system was enough for me to get around to almost anywhere I wanted.

Well, my situation regarding the public transport system is similar: From home I can take an underground to the bus-station and the bus goes once a hour through to the place where I work. Compared to going by car, this takes about 30 minutes longer, but on the other hand, traffic jams are no longer a bother to me (it's just funny to look at the faces around me, when they realize, an adult is actually reading mangas in a bus (no, not even one that was drawn by satoshi urushihara, that would probably start a public uproar)).

Because this is an acceptable arrangement for me, I have to make the decision, if I really need a new car or save the payments for the insurance for buying some more japanese B-Games.

'Tis a silly question! Buy more Bishoujo of course!

I thought so, but this would turn me more into a real "otaku" in the original meaning of the word (being bound completely to my place and stopping to care for the outside world).

Hmmm. Its starting to sound like a good idea, after all...
Aaaarrrgh! Please, doctor, no more pills!

Of course it's a good idea . A VERY good idea, if I may say so . Besides, I've noticed over the years that you seem to save a lot of money that can be used for bishoujo and other thing, if you just take a cycle to your work/school like I do instead of a car. but of course, taking the bus or so is also cheaper than going by car, as long as you don't plan to take any longer trips .

Perhaps, if you think it to the very end, not THAT good:
If I don't care about the outside world, what's the point of writing a review? Forgetting about the remaining world includes this BBS as well, since I have no internet-connection at home.

Hmm, you DO have a point there. Well, then do like this: Care half about the rest of the world and half on your hobbies, but bishoujo games formost! That should balance out everything in the end .

For those of you with a PS2 and like Fighting Games:

Mortal Kombat : Deadly Alliance is a worthy addition to your PS2 game collection.

I just get my mom to drive me to work every day. No, really.

Darn, missed it. Shows what I get for being clever. Oh well, off to find that plump, bouncy, bon-bons…

Of cause, being clever is no good idea.
Being more clever than your boss is even worse…

… and even proving this is … not clever at all.

Long live stupidity!

Well, you can be "clever" without being "smart". I'm apparantly neither since I currently still work at my workplace.

Perhaps, it's a better choice than being unemployed.

If I think of F. Ibanez, I think it's preferable to be neither "Clever" nor "Smart".

Hmm, hard to tell. Took a poll of my co-workers, including my manager. We've come to the conclusion that anyone that works here is either "dumb" or "desperate" and I'm not entirely sure which I am.

No votes for "completely masochistic" then?

Nope. Being "masochistic" would imply that you get some sort of enjoyment or pleasure from the pain and I've yet to see anyone here who enjoys there job.

As a side note, this is currently on the whiteboard outside my cubicle:

ABANDON ALL
a) Hope
b) Sanity
c) Reason
d) Will to Live
e) Morale
f) Optimism
g) Morals
h) Enthusiasm
i) Motivation
j) All of the Above
YE WHO ENTER HERE

I have people from coming from other floors of the building stopping by my cube to see if the list has been updated. It's kinda weird. And so far nobody from managment has scolded me about it yet.

I abandoned all sanity many years ago. I figure you only go around one--may as well have fun while you're at it, eh?

i hate modems! i started doing an update on my website a couple of days ago, got through designing and coding a whole page, went to save it, then my connection died and i lost all my work, almost an hours’ worth!

so you can blame my modem for why you don’t have an update yet…but the want-to-update bug has hit me, so there should be one soon, providing my connection behaves

... I think you've been reading too much of the "Divine comedy", really...

Hey, at least you started to do something about an update, even if it wasn't very succesful.

I really started to think, you want to wait for Level 3, because that would come in handy, changing the page for the update itself and exchanging the icon for the diamond-web-award as killing two birds with one stone... Ou-ou-ouch!

*stops Unicorn* Hey! What are you doing! Punishing yourself is good, but if you break your head, the Goddess losses a follower and PP, as well as the bishoujo game industry will lose a customer! Use this instead: *hands Unicorn a cat-o-nine-tails*
