Refresh my memory, Lamuness...

Ladyphoenix-sama because she’s one of our resident bishoujo-Goddesses and Nademonai-san mainly because he owns the souls of the majority of people here.

I know so many people who are afraid of putting contact lens on their eyes, the idea of putting something in your eye is very weird. I just imagine someone sitting around thinking “Hmm, just what havn’t I pierced or placed some foreign object into yet?”

Not to mention… how are you going to close your eyes?

I think some people buy me games for my birthday because they feel bad that I am a bishoujo goddess but so poor I can’t keep up with my bishoujo collection

Quote of the Day: "It’s Easter. Where are my bunnies?!"

I was half-tempted to give him my copy of Do You Like Horny Bunnies?, but he would probably have bounced it off my skull.

So I just watched the first Robocop … I’d seen the movie before, but didn’t really understand any of it; I was too young even to get the concept of black humor.

I must say - it wasn’t the greatest movie; it was well written in parts but the pacing seemed … a bit off; it felt rushed. But of the … the cybernetic Frankenstein stories, Robocop is one of the better ones out there.

I remember the first and second movies. The second movie was jacked up. That’s what I remember. I think it was the second movie. Which one had the scene where they dismantled Robocop? Either way, I’m never forgetting that scene. That left one hell of a memory imprint on my brain. Never saw the last sequel though. I remember watching a commercial for it, and saw him flying.

the first thing that comes to mind about robocop is:

COMMAND.COM

this must be one of nandemonai and bill gates’ evil plans…

Hehe, nice, but… I’m not sure I understand it.

When are most of the Cherry Blossom Festival’s in Japan? Do they mostly take place over one month or is there typically one day most celebrate?

I know way off topic but seeing this so often in anime and these games got me wondering and all I can find in my searches is very general information about what is done during these festivals but not when they are held.

I've been wondering that for awhile myself. I've seen it pop up in more than one place; if I had to guess blindly it seems like a tradition to do as soon as the weather/time of year permits.

When I lived down in Memphis (Tennessee) there was something kind of similar; there were organized tours you could go on to see the dogwood trees in bloom. I think I went one year but don't remember any of the specifics...

According to my friend Miko, multiple sakura celebrations are observed each Spring for different varieties of tree. The season is pretty much over by mid-April near Osaka.

She wrote this on April 10th: Unfortunately, the best season of the most famous sakura is over around here. But, as different kinds of sakura blossom (yaezakura) are blooming, I'll have a few pictures taken against the background of some of the trees. yaezukura blossom [damned hotlink blocker!]

We're getting together in Hawaii just a couple days from now. I'll get to try on my first yukata. Miko wearing yukata(mine in box)
