Ruf.

I’m curious about something… In the past, most people here have said that they’d like to see some games made by Ruf released here, but most or at least many on this BBS have given the cold shoulder to the throught of Kichiku-games and Ruf games contains quite a lot of that, althrough they at the same time are two sides of a coin, if you know what I mean. So, what do you think?

I don’t necessarily mind the idea of a kichiku game. My virulent detest of XChange came from the fact that the game seems to feel that things which I find quite evil are funny. If a story deals with kichiku themes maturely…well, I may not have much of a stomach for it but I can at least respect it.

I agree with Nandemonai. But I was wondering if kichiku games could also be classified as fetish games.

Nandemonai: Hmm… To be honest, I don’t really know if X-change was trying to make the rapes a “fun” part of the game, since it doesn’t feel thst way. I think it was rather the whole “Sex-change” thing that was supposed to be fun, along with some other things .

Gulyen: Well, they could be classified as thst sometimes, as in the case of Water Closet, but not always.

The gym teacher...what, Mr. Terada? His ending was apparently supposed to be amusing. (The one where they end up together.)

My reaction if I were in that situation would have been to crush him. On the assumption that he did similar things to, well, everything in a skirt, I would simply buy bugging devices and get incriminating tape recordings. At which point his ass is grass.

Hmm. Well, you do have a point about the teacher, I suppose. Then, again, there might be people who find that part amusing and those who don't... didn't think it was very fun, except for the expressions on the pupils when thye entered the room .

You'd have doen that, I'm sure . But remember that Takuya is something of a weakling, someone who hardly can say "no", if you understand what I mean (an example of this is how he always ends up as Asami's guinea pig, even through he doesn't really like to get used as a such ), and in this game you're playing as him, not yourself (which is another flaw of this game, I suppose: you don't get many alternatives for role-playing as in for example TCI).

The Terada-sensei-ending?
Aaaaargh! Almost forgot about that one!

*panicks*
My green potion! Where is my green potion!
I wanna have that potion right now and never again be in danger to get that ending!
Please, Sato Asami-sempai!

X-Change, while not my favorite game PP has produced, (Critical Point and TCI are my Favorites) I thought it was O.K. I agree completely with Nandemonai about the Gratuitous Rape Scenes, which were really unnecessary IMHO. It really added to my unenjoyment of this game. We’ll see how X-Change 2 changes my opinion, if at all.

True enough.

When I said I was probably the most bloodthirsty person on this board--just with a conscience--I was (for once) dead serious.

Don't be too sure of that .

I've been dead for 3 seconds, does that count?

You have no idea how strange that comment looks from my end.

If you REALLY want to get into an "I'm more sadistic than you" fight, we can do that.

Sorry Jeffrey, better explain the details. To put it shortly, Heart was out of whack, so the Doctor had to stop, then restart my Heart. So technically during that time I was dead for about 3 seconds.

And the comment was in reply to Nandemonai being Dead serious.

What? When was this?

We could discuss it at length, each trying to top the other.

I wasn't saying we should (and in fact I don't want to). But we could, if we wanted to creep out most of the rest of the board members.

Creep us out? How? Do you plan on stringing geese with detination cord?

Geez, I'm not really very eager to do that, since no one of us would give in, and in the end, it would most likely be declared a draw anyway. So I'm content with us both just thinking right now that "I'm crueler than he!". No need to argue about it .
