Sensei 2 on Jan. 7th!

Okay so I’m a little bored. Anyways, with G-Collections newest title coming out in less than a week, thought I’d open up a thread for any thoughts about it.

Off-hand I’m thinking it’s going to be one of those that I’ll buy and play to be able to review it but not much afterwards. Like the brief blurb in the story description on the site “warning bells start to ring…”

Er, and I’m a bit amused by the “about the game” part. I’m wondering if G-collection’s support email was getting some odd help requests. (Though in an odd way if people don’t even know how to play basic bishoujo games, it might indicate that new people are getting into the genre.)

Personaly, i think i will avoid this game.
It seems particulary insulting for women and i cant approve this kind of stuff.

I’ll get it but it looks a little bit more S&M than G-Collections other releases.

i’m a little undecided about this one after seeing the preview pages…i’ll have to wait and see what a few other people think before i buy it…the girls just look so SAD in most of those sex pictures…i don’t know if i could handle a game where there is no consentual sex, and it doesn’t look like most of that is consentual

Well, I’m more concerned about the art than the brutish elements in the ga,e, to be honest ^^;. The art jsut looks… crappy. Sensei 1 or 3 looks so much better >_<. I don’t think I’ll get this one, for now. Instead I’ll concentrate on gettign Gloria and Maid’s Story, and getting XC2 and Brave Soul when they gets out.

(It doesn’t mean that I’ll get it if I do have money, though. It simply means that I need money before I can do anything.)

Unfortunately, it's quite different from Pia Carrot. Yes, the main character (i.e., you) works at a family restaurant. Yes, the girls (three, actually) work there as waitresses. However, the entire premise of the game is to...ah, train...them to be your own personal sex slaves, regardless of what they might think of it.

The game is called Shi/Ko/Mi and unfortunately, it looks like Zyx's publishing it for another design group. (Petit Rabbit) so I'm not sure if G-Collections would be able to get it for Translation. It does look pretty good. Here's the game on Zyx's website:

Actually if you compare the art of Kana and Sensei 2, It looks like the art is done in a similar style. -ed.-

It's a SIM (and nevermind the fact that it's a slave-training-sim, it would be tempting even if it was a love-sim or resturant-sim), it has nice-looking art, and nice-looking characters. edit: Besides, look at the game and it's meters. It's all in english! That's something that bodes well, or so I think ^_^

Edit 2: and besides... Nandemonai, LadyPhoenix? I don't know if you agree with me or not, but despite this game being a slave-training-sim, it doesn't look all that brutish, unlike Sensei 2. If you judge by the CG's, that's it.

True, but here, the art looks worse >_<. Or so I think, anyway. Since this was the game they made right after Kana, I wonder if they wanted to try and see how the style worked in another game...

I don’t know about this one. At the moment, I don’t think I’ll get it.

However, I’ll wait and see what other people have to say about it first.
