Snow Drop - basic comments

For me, I usually put the chilhood friend at first priority . But at first I thought I’d go for Hoanmi as she is so kawaiiiii but I found out that she’s your sister shheesssh what a waste
So, this time I’ll go after Keika (wonder if there is an ending with her?).
There something about her that interest me

For Kumiko:
Hmmm…Should I believe your words Kumiko?
Women are the best when it comes to secret and they are one of the most interesting creature (I got this idea after watching Senkaiden Houshin Engi). The main evil character, who is a female (her name is Dakki), is sooooo evil, sneaky and cold hearted yet she is always energetic, cute and happy (hmmm…this kinda reminds me of someone describing herself )
Anyway, I suggest you guys see Senkaiden Houshin Engi if you want to see the true scary nature of a woman

Anyway, I suggest you guys see Senkaiden Houshin Engi if you want to see the true scary nature of a woman

…are you sure this is necessary?

If you want to see the true scary nature of a woman, don’t we have kbeep here as a good example? hehehehehe

For me I would go after Kasumi-chan first is exactly the same reason as Lamuness-san. However, I like the other extreme of cute, energetic, lolicon-types as well. Unfortunately, on this game Honami is a kid sister! I generally do not go for the main heroine either. I’m more intrigued with the other female characters since they generally show up less than the main heroine. This gives them a certain amount of mystery to me and I definitely love intrigueing women!

When a person gets to a certain age, their perspective will change…

Sooner or later everybody has to find a partner and build a family right? Well…maybe Kumiko wants to stay single (and ahem flirt?) for the rest of her life, I don’t know…but definitely nobody likes spoiled, violent, irresponsible, mean etc wives, or girlfriends…

Well Kumiko, if you don’t want to stay single, I suggest that you start appreciating and learn from these elegeant “mature” ladies because they are excellent role models for you…otherwise, watch out, ahem nobody’s gonna marry you~~~hohoho

Mature bishoujo’s are just as popular you know…

But then…

After reaching the age of 21,should that be call “Bijin” instead of “Bishoujo” ?

Orochi,

true…should be more “bijin” than “bishoujo”

(ADD)
but here’s a question for you:
Aya, being ranked as the most popular character in Comic Party by the Official Leaf Comipa Fan Club, definitely has a mature feel to her…would u call her bijin or bishoujo? ^^

[This message has been edited by Lamuness (edited 02-25-2001).]

Aya…

She’s a quite type, that’s her most attractive point, but she definitely does not have a mature feel to her. (At least to me.)
And since she’s around 19-20 years of age,I will classified her as a “Bishoujo”.

A Bijin will need to be :-

1)Around 21-30 years old.

2)Able to take care of herself.

3)Express mature behaviour such as being cool under fire.

4)Having a fixed profession,not “arubito”-ing.

Does the subject known as K(beep) exhibits the above behaviuor ? Let see…

1) Age Unknown…

2) Nope,she need guidance…

3) Nope,she get flare up quite easily…

4) Does not have a Job as far as I know…

Conclusion :- K(Beep) falls into the “Bishoujo-Brat” category same as the Twins from “Type Zero” by AliceSoft and Michiru from “AIR”.

Speaking of which…
There are some Bishoujo that matures into Bijin as the story progress…

Example :- Misuzu Kamio from AIR.She might give you a impression as a eccentric girl when you met her the first time (Saying “Konnichiwa” to a male stranger and the asking him to stay over at her place…WTH…?)But she turns out to be a stronge-willed girl at the end who does not want to give anyone trouble at the end…

alright, point taken…but I dunno, I feel like I wanna marry Aya myself…^^

err…21-30yrs old…so after 30 what does this lady level-up to? obasan? hehe

(ADD)
err…so what if she is 21-30 but doesn’t have a set profession yet? This holds true for many university students and graduate (Masters degree) students. First you don’t have a profession (and you do part-time at school as teaching assistants etc), so you are not a bijin…but then you are too old to be a bishoujo…so what are they?

oops…accidentally revealed Kumiko’s age…I take it back (erase), since doing so is absolutely FATAL (revealing girl’s ages)…I will let Kumiko introduce more of herself, if she chooses to do so

Hahaha!!! Lamuness-san that was pretty funny!
I think there is the level called obasan before obaasan don’t you think?
But I think A lot of women would be offended with either of these terms. I’m surprised Kumiko-chan still hasn’t said anything. I’m waiting for her to explode.

ya it’s “slight” typo hehehe

HA HA HA so it went off the topic huh!?

However, my message is on topic so rest assured Kumiko.
In Snow Drop, is Honami really really really your sister? Could there be a mistake like error in birth certificate or stepsister?
I mean she is soo kawaii and I was so dissappointed to find out that she is the character’s sister.
Is anyone as dissappointed as me or am I the only anime loli kawaii freak around here ?

I hear you KaiserFire-san. As I mentioned before I like both extremes of mature women and lolicon types. I’m bummed about it as well.

Oh FeistyGuy!!!
It’s nice to see that we are of the same kind
I also like mature woman (especially in manga about teacher-student relationship)

Let’s just hope that the brother-sister relationship in Snow Drop has a secret behind it. Most bishojo game have secrets we barely think about or knew.

Give it a break.

You have to understand that the Japanese have a fascination for forbidden love such as between cousins, siblings, and parental.

It’s something you have to get used to.

In this case here, the Japanese intro of the game had state explicitly that Honami share the same blood with the main chara,I have not played this game, but my take is that even though they might not be really sibling, the furtherest they get is being cousins or a stepchild sharing the same mother or father.

Check out the Japanese intro page for this game at

As you can see from the screen shot, there is a sexual scene with Honami.

At least in a romantic settings such as Snow Drop, you don’t get to see the main chara get raped by his mother (like in UP!) or forced sex between siblings by a 3rd party (Bible Black). It amazing how far the Japanese would take this to.

let see, since I played the Japanese version of Snow Drop quite recently, I think this is the breakdown of ending splits:

3 bad endings (might be more but I seriously doubt it)
1 normal/neutral/blah ending (the nothing-happens aka you suck ending)
2 good or “true” endings as Kumiko mentioned

so 6 endings in total for Snow Drop.

Hmmm…6 endings huh!?
Not bad but that’s not much and considering that there is only 2 good endings means that you can’t have an ending with every girl (I think I have a pretty good idea which girl’s gonna get the good ending )
I wish that there’s more good endings but…oh well

Hello…
The what is is…?

http://www.comike.com/brandnew/1450/c1450sample3.jpg

You sure, Orochi-san? Looks like Keika to me.

…Maybe my bad.
Hair length isn’t the same but the colour…

Well, it looks like I’ll just have to play the game the see and feel the ending.
I just hope my crying (if I cried that is ) is because of a touching happy ending and not a sad ending
