It would not necessarily be apparent when you play, though... that is, more than one path leads to a similar ending. This is pretty standard, of course.
Kaiser Fire-san... let's say that the two true endings are somewhat related, and that you will certainly cry with either one, Kumiko thinks. You will also likely cry with some of the others as well... please read the story of Yuki-Onna, if you have not yet done so, because you'll see it is a rather bittersweet story (typical of Japanese fairy tales, in fact)
For everyone's benefit, there seems to be some discussion of the concept of being able to win the heart of each girl in a game... this is not standard, but it seems that some people here are not aware of that. Normally, a game story is exactly that - a story. The bishoujo genre is no different - it is not true that most bishoujo games are structured so you can win all the girls, one way or the other.Just as one well-known example... one reason Dave E does not lay DiviDead again is because his favorite character dies in every possible path. It kinda removes the fun of playing the game if you cannot win with your favorite... and even more so if she dies in every case! He mentioned this to Himeya / C's ware - to him, this is a flawed story, for all of its ogther excellent qualities.
Anyway... do not assume that a game story will allow you to win with every possible girl character in the game - that is unusual.

Kumiko, I can't see how this was a game design flaw in Divi-Dead that you were unable to save *Spoiler Protector*. What I mean is that the game is a Horror story. Granted I would have liked to have saved her as well but it would have lessend the sense of helplessness that was trying to be conveyed at the end of the story.
(P.S. O.K. In Gloria I also liked Charme as well as Mary, but still none of the others stood out.)
