Yes, you give people enough that many want to complete the collection then you sell the others outside of the anime in order to make a little more money.
Sorry I just think of ways people can do strange things like that which was mentioned.

OK, I hadn’t considered that possibility. I ordered DVD 1+artbox+figure because I thought I might like the full collection. When we find out what’s shipped, we can compare notes.
The first one was Aoi, the second the say two, but I am wondering if they count two as Mayu and the white ferret she is pictured with whose name I am blanking on, or if the mean two like Mayi an Taeko.
If they were sneaky they might mean the former if honest the latter, and yes having studied some of society it is easy to find ways they might trick you, loopholes in what they say.
Different thought, sorry for the other message hit quote instead of edit, has anyone heard if more of the Tenchi Muyo OVA 3 has aired yet in Japan? All the sources checked still show only the first three of six as having aired have any of the others and are those sources just out of date?

Yeah, you'd almost assume by how they have them grouped on the box, that it'd be Mayu and Taeko for one DVD, and Chika and Tina with the second one.

From what I understand these 5 figures are the same gashpon?(sorry forgot how you spell the name) figures in japan. So for vols 2-3 you will get 2 figures each. and they all connect to form that bath scene thingy. So sounds like what Seishin says is about right. I got my AYA along with my ROD last week been enjoying it over the weekend. The ROD book/box is an awesome LE for this series

It's an OVA so more has to be produced. I think the next volume suppose to be out in August. BTW the OVA was just liscensed by Funi over the weekend
Funi is a company that release R1-DVD’s?
Funi is short for Funimation, who did DBZ, YuYu Hakusho, Blue Gender, Kiddy Grade, etc.

Ah okay, was not sure if they were a new company or not U.S. but they are Funiamation.
You’ll all kill me for this, but it has to be said.
Very Funi, guys.

looks like the winds anime has began it’s run on japanese tv. Too bad it’s 1/2 length episodes
What are 1/2 length episodes, and it might have been said but what is the Winds anime?
Wind - A Breath of Heart (TV series, see here and OVA, see here), a game by Minori, company where Makoto Shinkai of “Hoshi no Koe” (Voices of a Distant Star) fame works (used to work?)
1/2 episode length: 12.5 minutes running time (intro and ending included). I am not sure if this is a new trend as there has been a couple of anime released lately in this format.
BTW, the TV series and the OVAs don’t seem to be made by the same people.
How do they show that on television though the 12.5 minute episodes? Is it two episodes back to back or one 12.5 of one show and something else entirely for the rest of the half hour? Or is the rest of the world not so bound to time blocks as the advertisers have forced U.S. television to be?
They put two 1/2 episode anime one after another. For example, when Bottle Fairy was aired, it was aired along with Battle Program SHIRASE.
Risky Safety was seven minutes long. Good show. Good show.

I take it this is also how they aired a show like Steel Angel Kurumi?
