Okay, the game is out so I just want to know if anyone’s bought it yet and if so, how’s the translation so far?
You know, you should be a little bit patient and wait for someone who has already got the game to buy the game, download, install, play through and write a review for it. Me? No, i’ve just woken up after sleeping after work, and now i have to find my credit card 
Hey, I wasn’t expecting an immediate answer, I was just starting a thread for a new game. Trust me, I can wait, especially since I have to wait until payday (and a little longer for the bank put the cash in my account) until I can get some new games without going over the budget.
And from Narg-san’s review of this game on his old site, I know already that this game is good as a sex romp, but nothing spectacular. I’m really just curious as to the translation for this game.
If you want to know how Succubus Soon (i REFUSE to call by that bad english tittle. They’re succubus, not witches!! :lol: ) is, you can try to DL the Demo and the trial version here or here.
If i remember well, the story is about the protagonist who had a perverted womanizer father who wanted his son to become a womanizer too, so he invoked a sucubbus (Shera’s mother) and asked - after some hot sex - to put a spell on him. She sends her sucubbus daughter Shera to the protagonist, but instead doing what she was ordered, Shera fell in love with him and decides to live with him from now on. But the problem is, the protagonist had a younger sister not related by blood who was in love with him too. So they start to fight for him.
As far as i’m concerned, the only thing worth-checking out about the game is the translation quality. MG didn’t make such good impression with the Edelweiss re-release, so they’ll have to prove their ability this time.

At least for people outside Europe, we’re lucky that the euro’s value is going to hell. What used to be about around $80 for DC and Suika has dropped to about $67.

Me too. 
I just purchased it and now I’m downloading.
And I will keep purchasing one Mangagamer game each month, just to support those guys so they release more english games.
The same goes for PeachPrincess. I love that those guys make the effort to translate those games,
because I had a great time with all of them and I wouldnt have if they werent translated - because I dont speak japanese.
The pricing at Mangagamer might seem a bit high, but if you really think about it they must be paying a lot of cash for the licenses
for A+ titles such as Da Capo.
And its my hobby, so I wont be a scrooge - at least I spend my money on something I enjoy.

Now the chances are the tittle is not the only thing they changed. What if every time a character says in good sound “succubus” (sakyubasu) they will write “witch” instead? Really stupid. :?

Succubus was kept the same.
She’s only called a witch in the title it seems.

They seem to have re-written some lines to remove the ‘succubus’ from it.
When Shera and Sana first meet,
the voice says ‘Watashi wa Succubus Sera’
The text says “I’m Shera”
I’d rate D.C an A- myself, based on what i’ve seen in the D.C anime, maybe Suika deserves an A but idk

Overall I enjoy playing it though, and the few mistakes dont bother me much as I can still understand the plot. 
From my personal experience, I’d give Suika an A-. Da Capo would be a C+ at best ;_;
Lipp, if you’re uploading pictures of the game to show text, can’t you make them bigger so that we won’t go blind looking at text that’s on a 320x240 image?

You know what? After observing all those screenshots and such i’m starting to worry about the translation quality for MG’s next title and first hit (i.e D.C). I don’t know, i have no idea where they put the proof-readers/testers they hired formerly in use either. So… yeah
