Well, while I doubt Peach Princess is tight enough with the companies for these games, here’s what I want to see (divided into categories)
(note if I put the games together that just means they’re from the same company_
Romance:
School Days and Summer Days
Kanon and Air
Kimi ga Nozomu Eien and Muv Luv
Quartett
Koihime
the rest of the Tsukushite Agechau games
Comic Party
Hitozuma Kasumi-san
3-Days Marriage
Mystery:
Cartagura and Pianissimo
Visit
Setsuei
Horror/Dark:
Mini Dead Blood and Gore Screaming Show
Kansen
Suzukuri Dragon
Mayonaka wa Ware no Mono and Crusade
I got some games that i think people would like to have translated, i would by them again if they would come out in english.
The first is Kansen by Speed, a very dark horrorgame, but good graphic, good story and very good soundtrack. Here is the getchu link http://www.getchu.com/soft.phtml?id=232385
And Third Blue Box by Lillim. It is infact 3 games in a box True Blue, Angels Blue and Innocent Blue. Dark theme good story, good graphics. Here is the getchu link http://www.getchu.com/soft.phtml?id=270785
Here’s the thing; we can only expect Peach Princess to localize anything that was release within the sothouses of CD-Bros and Will. Which means a very limited amount.
I hope that Mr. Payne and others pick the right games, particularly the ones that did well on the Erogamescape, and that these games aren’t too expensive to acquire. I wanna see how good YMK is (it did quite well back in Japan)
True. But quality is not entirely unrelated to popularity, and you know it
Besides, if I were Peter, I’d be looking for the most popular things I could get my hands on, for obvious reasons. Of course the problem with this theory is that Japanese popularity isn’t a perfect indicator of how it will do across the ocean.
Nandemonai’s got a point. As much as Erogamescape is based purely on the bias of popularity, it does have it’s uses. The incredible huge patch files and bugs of SUmmer Days led it to be voted as being the worst release of this year ( a shame, since the 0verflow games look so promising), and Crescendo and KLS did do well, not that they didn’t.
But, that being noted… one man’s meat is another man’s poison. We sure as hell wouldn’t know if a game, popular in Japan, would be popular in the West. I mean, how else can one explain the fact that eroge isn’t popular in the West either ?
Ok, I know That female H-games are not reqonized by American companys, some how Yaoi games are. How about some H-games for women, that’s not Yaoi. While some men in Yaoi games are hot. I don’t really care for yaoi. They do make games in japan that’s GxB for GirlxBoy. They do exist.
Please translate these! Drops on kneesBegging Please! Some of us women likes H-games that’s actually made for us. They make these games for guys, going after girls! Why not make games for us girls, chasing Hot men! Oh, I saw that you put Yo-Jin-Bo in the Yaoi section. Yo-jin-bo is not yaoi. It’s a very cute and fun game, but isn’t H, but I still loved it!
If the yaoi games do well, they might. Peach Princess DOES have access to games made by Will, after all … The first two you linked to seem to be a label of Will.
I really hope they release those types of games. Under the moon looked very cute, and the guys drools are so hot. Same goes for the other games. Eye candy for women, heh. I guess, I love bishounens a little too much, nah, I’m just a normal hot-blooded woman with a insatable lust for bishies.
:o ), you need to know that CROWD (using its Berkana brand) has also released a b-game catering to (female ?) lovers of “shoujo-ai schoolgirl games with just lots of adorable girls (sexually) cuddling”, but it’s difficult to say if its relative flop with the hardcore fans really derives from bad game quality or it’s simply intolerance for “a mindlessly sweet game straight from a manga for little girls” (Goodspeed You!'s comment of the game is somewhat amusing, at least):
Personally, I would like another game played from a female perspective. As long as its not another Doushin, aka rape story. Can’t stand rape stories, regardless of POV.
And btw, I liked X-change, and for that matter Yin Yang just because they were from the female perspective. Well, altered female, but female nonetheless. I rather enjoyed the genderbending aspect of it as well.
