my guess is you can pick it up this weekend
Just got my shipment notice
Download version available ^^
Thanks for the info. Will be Purchasing it right away
Just got my copy.
On a side note, this catalogue poster (the poster part was for School Days) somehow seems so much more awesome now that it has some A list games in it.
Just got my copy tonight, too. Looks great so far! And, yeah, the poster was cool, too. Wouldn’t mind seeing some more posters in the future.
I looked at all three Sites (Jast, PP, J-List) and didn’t see a download option.
For J-list, click “add to cart”. You get to choose download option or hardcopy after you do. I’m assuming it’s also similar for the other sites too.
Ah, thanks. Ordered it on J-List now, on PP and Jast the disc/download-choice is made on the productpage, but the combobox is missing.
So, has anyone started playing this yet? How is it if you have? I just got mine in the mail, but since I am behind in college because of the military I won’t be able to play for a while. Just want to see what you think about it so far.
The Qix part is buggy as hell… problem with the pad, crash upon crash on some stage, which make them almost impossible to finish for some (or with a lof of luck)
The ADV part is really so-so, short and really easy to finish with very few choice… And the story, hmmm… Well so-so too and easy to forget.
Disapointing.
Sounds like it might be an idea to unplug the pad. Game probably wasn’t extensively tested on a gamepad.
The pad and the crash are two different thing.
You have crash upon crash with or without the pad.
It might be your system. I managed to clear all the levels on normal and hard, and it never once crashed on me. I’m using Windows 7 64, so I know it’s at least fully compatible with that.
I just bought the internet download version. Can’t wait to start playing…
Anyone having problems with Escalation ADV? When I try to change to Fullscreen mode, the game freezes…
Of course! I have that problem all the time. I’ve just given up trying to view any JAST games full screen. By the way, i can’t see a thing thru these bleedin’ glasses.
I had that problem too, with both games. (as well as Raidy 2) But if I forcefully terminate the application after a freeze, then immediately try to run it again and try to set it full-screen again, it works for me without question.
The issue is most likely caused by a combination of poor programming, your display and your video card. Basically, what happened is that the game in question requested a fullscreen display of 640x480x32 or 800x600x32 or something else. Your display driver said ‘no’ for whatever reason and the game, which didn’t expect ‘no’ just went on as if it had been given the display, leading to a crash.
Historically PowerStrip was a good way of working around this, but I have no idea how you’d fare with it and can’t really recommend it or support it. But it’s there if you want to try it (it’s shareware)
Thanks. The second game worked OK, strangely I have problems just with ADV. I will try again soon.
