I must say, I’d be lying if I didn’t admit the staff listing didn’t make me wet myself. It’s everyone who made BCyc the kickass dark eroge company, that made me believe they were infallible. I’m trying to curb my enthusiasm, in light that BCyc does release duds from time to time, but it’s really hard.
The writers… the artists… the musicians (New Wave Of Death Neko Metal – how is that not divine)… the character designs and scenario setup.
Why. Can’t. I. Stop. Wetting. Myself.

I’ve got to say, this seems to be the 2010 release for me, assuming there’s no way Taiyou no Ko will be released in that year. Already looking forward to this more than any of the other big things announced - Rewrite, the Type-Moon games, Elfen Blaze etc.
We know Cthulhu is a god… but the BCyc universe already has their own gods: the race of creatures that Goa was. I wonder if another of his kind will be in this one. That would be wicked if it’s a powerful kind like Goa (and not a weakling like Bloodeleven). :twisted:
Yea… but BCyc has a… err… history with shota boys.
He probably “takes it” from the girls, more than he “gives it” to the girls. 
This one looks manly enough to give as good as he gets. Maybe it’ll be a bit of both =P
Black Cyc does feature quite a few shota characters, although Itou Hiro seems especially fond of them, particularly as protagonists. He currently holds first and second places on the EGS Shota POV list, and Imitation Lover’s arguably has a shota protagonist as well.
Hmm, while I’m definitely more interested in Cthulhu than Rewrite, I think objectively Rewrite may be the better game, although there’s still a severe lack of information about that, and the TYPE-MOON games (most other companies would be nice and provide regular site updates but those two can get away without doing that :roll:). Still waiting for information on Taiyou no Ko too, but I think it’ll be out before the end of the year, given that White Album 2’s scenario is just about complete, and the other two writers don’t seem to be involved with anything at the moment + the artists should be finishing up their current projects in the first half of 2010 at the latest.
In addition to those games, I’m holding out a lot of hope for White Album 2, but we’ll probably only get the introductory chapter in 2010.
Edit: Has anyone else other than Lancer-X and myself finished Mugen Kairou 2 yet? I’m very interested to hear some more opinions on it from the English side.
Cthulhu site update. The artists are continuing to turn out awesome character designs (well, in this case the sub-artist), and there’s also some information about the setting, and one or two other things on the Black Cyc blog.
Also, Mugen Kairou is up for exclusive dl sales on gyutto, although at that price, it’d probably be easier and maybe cheaper to pick up a second-hand hard copy.
Gore Screaming Show is now also available for dl sales (again like Mugen Kairou, Gyutto has a monopoly on it - it’s not even available on Cyc’s DOWNLOAD B-Eye! dlsales site. Also, I’m not sure why the price is less than Mugen Kairou’s given that GSS has far higher production values.) Taking the points discount for future purchases into account, GSS come out at 4032 yen - goes without saying that if you’re interested and haven’t picked it up yet, it’s well worth it at that price.
(For some reason, since Gyutto carried out their site renewal, my card’s stopped working with them. Other people I’ve asked haven’t had that problem so it doesn’t seem to be an anti-gaijin measure or anything like that.)
Yep, I can still buy from gyut just fine. Quite odd
(of course, as a corollary, I can no longer buy from dlsite it seems, so we can’t have everything ;_
Cthulu update: New character and one new CG
Heh… was wondering when the psychedelic fashion was gonna show up.
Theme song (very fitting), and new character profile have been unveiled this week. Also, gyutto has a monopoly on dl sales for MinDead Blood.
(Incidentally, for anyone who missed out on grabbing a copy of the package version before it went out of print, Wanko to Kurasou also went up for sale on gyutto today for a very reasonable price.)
Edit: Forgot about the two new titles - White Cyc (seemingly) all-??? title (would probably pass on that sort of title anyway, but since it’s White Cyc, pass by default) and Rainbow Cyc’s Moerin sequel (Cyc members actually bought the original?).
New Wave Of Death Neko Metal delivers. BCyc does a great job with making their intro pictures sync with the music. Can’t wait to see what this one will look like: sounds like it will be wild. :o
