If what I’ve heard is true it relates to the staff. In like 2006 or something they went on a hiring spree and hired some big names that own stakes in titles which transferred to 5pb. Thus why they partially own a number of titles from AGE, KID and Akabeisoft2. The oldest title I believe they own is ‘Memories Off’ which is from 1999.
I remember reading that AGE offered MG ‘Kimi Ga Nozumo Eien’ instead since they owned the entire rights to that.
5PB is the biggest English-Eroge cockblocking machine I have ever seen period. Seriously, what are they thinking? Are they waiting for an invite from the president of the United States to start marketing products in English?

According to an Interview they did with…I believe it was Siliconera? They plan to release all their titles in English themselves.
What they have licensed out is generally assumed to have been an ‘experiment’ persay (Corpse Party & Phantom Breaker).

Could be right about that, here’s an image that kind of matches:
The cyan blob is the thing that most stands out in the image. I really don’t think it’s an eye because I don’t know of any eroges that contain eyes drawn like that. It’s far, far too bright. It most feels like a rotated (90 degrees to the left or right, not sure which) piece of cover art to me, but I have no idea what it is.
It “garnered a bit of interest”. So, it might be something with only a few suggestions. That’s hardly a clue.
I can tell nothing from the image. Therefore, I’ll be hoping it’s Akatsuki no Goei, because that was my suggestion. 
Decided to go visit 5pb’s site and surprisingly it didn’t have a block up. That’s kewl.

I pulled out the EGS top mean list, discarded the doujin circles (which aren’t really companies. I don’t know of any doujin circles that geoblock anyway, so it doesn’t skew the results) and pulled out the first 100 companies (not counting duplicates as some companies, like GIGA, have numerous high-scoring games) Out of those, 6 had geoblocks up (AliceSoft, Akabei2, Akatsuki Works, Applique, Applique Sister and minori). 6%. There’s not THAT many >_>

I like games like love death 4 miharu is awesome. artifical academy is fun, i can’t even mention how much i got amused by it but it was alot.
Nevermind, teatime have their block down again for some reason cuz i tried to view it last month and i couldn’t.
Well, even illusion’s block is down again, it seems to be up and down randomly whatever.
But just checked today, yeah, alicesoft’s one that’s still up, and sadly its the one i check the most.
