$35 USD is <3000 yen. I don’t see how a DL-sales version at that price is a ripoff at all, especially considering this game came out in 2009.
I definately wouldn’t mind seeing Kurenai no Tsuki (http://vndb.org/v2031) localized. Also, when will the game be availible for pre-order (like on rightstuf?)
ALcot have like a half a dozen good games; why do you have to pick one of the worst ones >_>

The premise/summary sounded good. You know, adult protag and a detective. So I thought the vn would be like Kara no Shoujo.

I’d love that if it ever happened. I’ve been doing some of the editing for that project, and I know the interest in the three games released so far is high, simply because there aren’t many games like them.

Right Stuf has a long history of guesstimating release dates without official input from the companies concerned. That is - making them up. Here is an archived thread where someone asks about Right Stuf’s then-predicted Oct 31 2002 date for Little My Maid … a game not released for another two and a half years.
I sure hope the game is out by then. But I’m not holding my breath. The only update since the original announcement was a screenshot, so we don’t know how far along the process is.

It will take at least a month. It will have been a month from the time Demonbane was announced as having been in final check status, to when it actually comes out. The final check takes a week or two, then the game goes off for replication.
The game might well go gold in a month, but I doubt it will be out within a month.
