Definately shaping up to be the best Pokemon ever. Sucks the English version won’t be out until 2010, at the rate things are going. Would be a cool surprise, if Nintendo could get it out by the Xmas season: but that would mean NoA is working on the English translation while the Japanese version was being developed.

One month until the english versions of heart gold and soul silver(closer to 5 weeks actually). I’ve got soul silver pre-ordered, and with platinum, emerald, and some help getting legendaries from the gamecube games, I think for the first time ever I may actually be able to fill up a pokedex. This is going to be a hell of a time waster for me, I sink so many hours into these games.

Article claims it will have features that will radically change Pokemon (like what hatching, personality traits, and inherent abilities did previously). Can’t wait to see what’s in store.
With a base Speed of 120 and a 135 base Special Attack, he’s a sweep-tastic killer. :twisted: He used to be one of the best during the GBA titles - along with Gardevoir - but has since lost the throne during the DS era. However that Speed and Special Attack are still fearsome. Less than a dozen - most of them the cheap ubers - actually can best him in a favorable sweeping match.
Newest version of Pokemon, comes with a Pedometer (not that kind) that unlocks extra goodies… you know… so people actually go outside and do something alien called walking. Of course humans, being the intelligent tool using bastards that we are, are creative so they don’t have to something alien called walking.
Pictures are spreading on the Internetz. Same game engine as the other DS releases - just visually improved: looks like camera control is available. Also in the battle mode, Pokemon cast “real shape” shadows. 8)
I’m sure any Heart/Soul owner will attest, that Nintendo has improved the audio quality recently, so this one should enjoy those improvements.
It be cool if the Pokemon sprites moved (like a moving fighting stance) in the battle mode. I hope they get to it this time around. :o
Ugh… the official site “big reveal” for the 15th is nothing more than those magazine scan pictures. Lame.
It is cool however, that the game environment has been improved, to include things like cars and traffic. That little addition alone, makes the cities actually feel like cities.
Oddish, Tropius, and all the other Grass Type Pokemon weep at that statement.

Thinking on this more… there has to be a military somewhere in the scheme of things. Someone also mentions that Pokemon shouldn’t be “tools of war” in Soul Silver/Heart Gold… I think in the Dragon Village. Also Lt. Surge was obviously a soldier… although he was also an American foreigner. Maybe only America has a Pokemon Armed Forces?
