Funny...I found Misato's case quite alright (10 or something in virtual reality, yet 18 IRL), and Kirara's case a little disturbing (20 in VR, yet actually 13--and looking even younger than that). I don't particularly like yuri, but I'm okay with it if it's cute. Futanari is NEVER cute to me, and is about as much as a turn-off for me as yaoi.

Also, I don't always view lolis (as I've defined them for myself) sexually. It's more of an extension of seeing them as cute. The recognition of cuteness comes first, and the sexual part may or may not come later, depending on the particular circumstances. BTW, I hate Azumanga Daioh with a passion. @The Unholy Avenger: And I don't understand how some people can like older women types, or shota for that matter. I don't understand what the big craze is all about with yuri. Rape, BSDM, etc...tend to sicken me. Many of these "tastes" are definitely wrong in real life, at least as wrong as going after little girls...but as long as people don't express these tendencies in real life, then it's all fine. But I still can't understand it.

I sure wouldn't. I think's it's adorably cute though. It's an H-CG, so I don't think it's surprising that I find it erotic as well. Erotic, yes, but not "sexy," if that makes any sense. Whether I find it “sexy”? I don’t know. I mean, the girl is awfully cute and all that, but… It’s not like it’s “whooo, HOT!” or anything.

I like loli girls in ero-games. Not mainly because of appearance, but because I find their manner cute (or sometimes annoying, the line between those two is hair-thin). For me, the behaviour of a typical loli is far more important than how they look. Of course, that could be related to me liking games with long stories and little sex, where there is ample time to get to know the character and so on.

That picture is lacking something for me to like it totally: I don’t know the character. So she becomes just another nude ero-game character, regardless of perceived age.

She’s real cute though

I definitely agree that there's a fine line between a cute and and an annoying personality, though I find the appearance complements the personality, and vice versa, making them equally important.

Clearly there are people lacking in perception and/or intelligence who just feel they need to give ignorant statements on the issue of loli in entertainment.

It’s just so…stupid. And repetitive. I sat through two episodes, and it was the most tedious experience in my entire anime-watching career. Then again, I never was into “girl shows” like Sailor Moon and Princess Tutu and such. They’re just too girlishly silly for me, I guess. All of this is only my opinion, of course. Amazingly, the studio that made Azumanga Daioh (Genco, I think) also co-produced Elfen Lied with VAP (the makers of Beserk).

what now i dont understand is this, if u want to see some cute girls or something like that, then why do u need it to be with a gild naked? i like b-games because they have gorgeous women (in my case, i’m 19, so 16 to 25 is in my range of ‘allowed by my own moral’), if i would like to see some cute girls, i would rather watch an anime or something like that…

It’s the same thing with regards to loli. As I see it, the difference is just a matter of preference. No one is harmed either way, so what’s the difference? There’s plenty of ways to complicate the argument (believe me, I’ve spent the last two days digging through huge topics on the matter), but I believe this to be the core ideal of the lolicion community.

Here’s a more extended explanation that I posted in another forum (which shall remain nameless):

I think of myself as a bit of a lolicon, though I’m not into the pre-pubescent stuff. Aged 13-17 is how I like it (purely with regards to anime). Why do I like loli stuff? I’m drawn to the cuteness and innocence. Rape isn’t my thing, lolicon or not. I believe this question was asked earlier: Do people that watch/read lolicon material do it for the cuteness or the sex? I think the answer is rather obvious. If it’s hentai, then of course they’re watching/reading it for the sex. Otherwise they’d be watching Card Captor Sakura or some other non-H show with younger girls. And if they’re specifically interested in lolicon material, then of course they like the cuteness, or any sort of hentai would do. I’m not saying that lolicons don’t also read/watch material with younger girls that’s non-sexual, without sexualizing them. But if they’re looking for lolicon hentai, then they’re looking for something sexually stimulating almost by definition. Well, there are people that seem to watch hentai to laugh at it or something, but I think it’s safe to call them a minority.

BTW I, as others have also stated, completely separate anime and reality. So much so, in fact, that I could probably say that I’m more attracted to anime girls than real girls. Strange, huh? I actually find real porn disgusting. Hentai, on the other hand, can be very cute, especially lolicon material (as I’ve defined it for myself). In my mind, hentai is the sensationalization of reality. It’s everything that reality could never be…an escape, if you will.

Then again, maybe I’m just weird. Oh well.

It doesn't seem like an "excuse" to me. That's how it was from the start, and it seems perfectly believable to me (unlike an 18-year-old "college" freshman in a high school uniform).

… heh, and of course, the worst problem is that in the Real World when you find out that the girl you’ve been flirting with online, who told you she was 20, is actually 14, you get ARRESTED.

I wonder if anyone offers a ‘Help me prove this girl is legal before I invite her over’ service online…

Eh, you can’t actually get arrested if you didn’t know (or could reasonable infer) that the girl was underage, can you? I mean, if she’s impersonating a girl over 18, then it’s surely not your fault, as long as you terminate the relationship as soon as you discover she’s underage.

i dont know.... maybe because 16 is the age that they shold get into sex? maybe because it's a normal age for boys/girls to start landing their twisted minds?

Talking about VR-May, i think the most surprising, hilarious (i dont even know if this word exist in english), and the one that left me with a ICE-COLD sweat was the girl that ended up being a Boy... i also have to make clear that i was 16 year-old when i played that game, and that i didnt own that game (i downloaded it somewhere, i think that page is no more on-line), and at that age, when u are still flirting girl after girl u cant hope for a boy (maybe 'specially a boy') to take lightly a Gay/transexual/whatever thing....
