Well, my horn is glowing for LMM and Slave Bazaar. Does that count too?

By the way: Wasn’t that newscaster by any chance Mariko-chan?

How is she supposed to write a reply while she is out there, battling for her "Slave Bazaar"?
(She never claimed to be all-powerful, so writing an email while holding a siege in front of the PeaPri-office might be out of the question...)

*cough* *cough* Ahem. In keeping with the topic of this thread, I present the following email which I received today:

Dear Friend,
I am Mohammed Abacha, the eldest son of
the late president of Nigeria, i was
falsely acussed of murder and as such was
imprisoned, but thanks to Allah, i have
been released for my innosence. Well dear
friend i need your assistance in
transfering some of my money into your
acount, because the government is making
plans to seize them, as they did to my
fathers own. The ammount is $20 million
in a Security Abroad. All that is needed is
for me to instruct the company to transfer
the funds to your account, i will
renumerate you with 20% at the end, but
most of all is that i solicit your trust
in this transaction. I have been confined
only to Kano and all my calls are
monitored,So i will get my private
attorney to get you the needed information.
Best Regards
Mohammed Abacha

If you are curious, you can look up more information here: http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/scams/nigeria.htm

Now, I just have one thing to say: Apparently this scam works. Quite well. Can ANYone tell me why? I can't imagine reading this email and taking it seriously for ANY length of time at all. It's just...preposterous. Where do they find all these gullible people? I didn't know there were so many...

The funny thing is, I got one about Diamond mines in South Africa and excess money they needed to transfer. It's obviously a scam just to get your bank account number so they can transfer your funds out electronically and it's way harder to trace that way as well. Some people are so greedy that it blinds them to common sense. Some people don't realize that if anyone had that much money they could probably set up a Swiss bank account and transfer it that way if they really wanted to hide that much money.

Just for that, and in your honor...

Newscaster: I don't think these people are quite sane.
Cameraperson: What was your first clue?
Newscaster: Oh well. Excuse me, sir? Care to answer a few questions?
Fwobigols: Sure. Hey, you wouldn't happen to have a soul or two you'd like to sell would you?
Newscaster: You want me to sell my soul?
Fwobigols: Of course not, hard to get repeat business if you buy a person's own soul, most people have only one even if they don't use it. Plus, you can't buy in bulk that way. I was wondering if you have anyone else's soul to sell. Like, how about his?
Cameraperson: Er...
Newscaster: Sorry, the studio has exclusive rights to his soul.
Fwobigols: Those studios. Trying to squeeze the small soul-buying businesses out. Excuse me, one of the others needs his six-shooters. *thud*
Newscaster: Er, excuse me, it looks like you dropped your...jaw? What is with these people?!?

Don't you just love those? I think the one I got was for the "daughter of the deceased company president" trying to hide funds before the company got taken over.

Well, no. While it's sort of a trade secret what happens to those people, I think it's safe to say that they definitely would not be in a position to lose a whole lot to this scam.

Well, since I did get a reply for her, we might have to suppose that she's powerful enough to be in more than one place at once .

Er, who knows? No one asked for her name, anyway.. . But is he is, we know that we've meet the poor reporter who's under the contol of an 3vil TV-studio (Hey! Who said anything about us being evil, since we in some years will asumme the role of the 3vil bastard who's in charge of controlling her!?). But if you do meet her again, do listen to her. If she moans softly while interviewign you, we can certainly assume that it's Mariko .

Phew! I was starting to become worried, because we heard nothing from you yesterday.

Heh! I haven’t been interviewed yet and I suppose, I am not going to be interviewed anyway, because most humans (as for example that newscaster) nowadays regard us unicorns as wild horses that have nothing important to say…

I got sick ysterday, probably because of a lack of sleep during the weekend, and couldn't come to school, and that means that I was unable to get out here as well. Gomen nasai, for not coming yesterday -_- *bows*

. Unicorns have a tough life nowadays, it seems . I mean, there's fewer and fewer maidens everywhere, and people treat you like you were just normal horses, not magicial creatures... Ah, things were better before, as the old geezers say .

*Hmm, thinking about Unicorns reminds me of that I still haven't figured out any use for the Unicorn flute in PM2*

That depends. At least, we're getting less unwanted attention (if I forget about the "Voldemort"-incident that happened in the last years).
... and there are still maidens, but they grow younger while the years pass...

I don't know PM2 very well, but maybe there is an unicorn for taming in the woods?

Perhaps, but how's an, say 9-year maiden compared to a 16-year old maiden? for that's usuallyu what people think of when speaking about a maiden, it seems. Or something like that

Perhaps, I simply don't know... Hmm, perhaps I need to raise my daugher's Sensitivity? (that makes it easier for her to encounter otherwordly beings and the like, it seems...). And BTW, can anyone tell me what to do when Cute asks me "You're not going to introduce your daughter into high society?"? I really don't know what to do at that point...

BTW, haven't you tried out PM2, Unicorn? You really should! It's a great game that every bishoujo game fan or simulation-game fans hould try out! A great shame that this game never really was ported..

But that is most likely because her pager has gone off, not because of your looks.

You need to use it in the forest, I forget exactly where. But you use the horn in a particular spot, camp, and the next morning a unicorn (not our Unicorn-san unfortunatley, ) will talk to you about it. I forget what happens but you can raise your sensitivity through the encounter. (Sorry, it's been awhile.)

Wish I could get that kind of reaction when my pager goes off. My normal reaction to my pager is usually one of screaming terror. People hate when I have that reaction though. Usually wakes them from their naps...

Well, I never said that it'd be because of your looks, did I? . One of the pictures at Getchu.com hinted at that in NCM, there might be soem fun with vibrators, or possibly dildos, so I'd say that that'd be the cause of the "And what does... ohhh. FWO...Ahhh....BI...hnnn...GOLS mean.... AHHHHHHHHH!"- thing .

Thanks, I'll see what I can do, thne .). But P; certainly offers lots of possibilites and, as Gurvon told me, it'a really addictive game *drool*. The dragon in the dragon ruins is very funny, indeed! I did not know that dragons could be perverts too .

That explains the funny looks I was getting. I thought I had put my clothes on backwards again or something...
