I know, when I first read the list too I was wondering who filled out the forms. Hmm, I think I've only seen two titles on that whole list...
I’ve seen eleven of them and only three of them are anywhere near my top ten. It looks like it was a poll of a bunch of children.

No, that is not a joke. Newtype USA had an article this month, and those anime were in that order. Since Newtype USA is pretty closely following Newtype Japan now, I assume the list in question was recently compiled by polling Japanese Newtype readers.

I think the list is dubious too. It’s a popularity poll, stuff that remains memorable or most recently received attention. It’s just difficult for me to believe Cowboy Bebop can be on that list when Trigun is nowhere in sight. Trigun owns Cowboy Bebop for phree.
Since I brought it up, I may as well keep it going.
