The Next (Peach) Princess Project

Totally wrong guess. I’ve played the Demo Game, and I can say two things for sure:

  1. No beastiality whatsoever. The sheeps of this game have an humanoid (and ridicolous… ) form, yes, but the female protagonist is vastly different .
  2. Sodatete Miryu? is the most original CROWD game I’ve seen so far. I truly hope for an English version! Try for yourselves the 39MB’s Demo Video or, even better, the 155MB’s Demo Game (which includes a second 40MB’s Demo Movie, too!). A Download Mirror Site is here.

Edit: CROWD has changed its Internet address, and the new Home Page is here. The old Links are now dead.

That's a relief. From the sound of your original description the magical transformation came from the addition of "spud'um" to a sheep. Far too reaching for me there.

Cat women, sheep women, whatever, that exist because of mythology, ancient ancestry, or some such I can handle. Tinging magical bodily fluids to common barnyard animals to make that happen...well....enough for me.

All I could think about after reading your original description was "hey, Bubba, I ran out of conditioner....had to use something to keep their pelts nice and shiny....!" UGH! Enough of the bad humor on my part...

I will gladly check out that demo as soon as I get some of my game backlog out. The games I ordered just came in and I will add that demo shortly.

Hehehe, I've slighty edited my original description, but it's my initial source (the Getchu synopsis) to blame, for speaking only of "sheeps" and "weak sheep with no body hair".

Someone should make a FAQ about which publishers Peach Princess and G-Collections can license bishoujo games from and sticky it. -_-

Emu isn’t one of those.

If I’m not mistaken, Emu was another associate of CROWD. Unfortunately, it’s disappeared just a few months ago, and therefore the probability of an English porting of their games is nil. Besides, erogames with manimals are very numerous, and Kinyoubi no Koneko is just a typical example, not a masterpiece (I’ve read only Erogamescape’s notes, however).

Played through the Demo, and from what I gather on it is that the game is a type of raising sim…and wherever you go in the game will influence the next form the girl evolves into…

This guy writes GREAT reviews (and he seems to have lots of free time, too ).

Is it just me, or does the site provide no navigation for the bishoujo game reviews?

None that I could find.

Hmm…same here. I only found three reviews, all written in the last month. Didn’t try downloading the codex’s though they look interesting. Must be a new site or still constructing it.

Well, I’ve discovered that site only yesterday , but, after seeing the old site in http://www.archive.org/web/web.php , I believe that this Elizar guy discovered the joy of Japanese erogames fairly recently…

Wrong guess, judging from his last review. However, I want just to point out a little thing: the true CROWD page for that game is here (EDIT: CROWD relocated today. Link dead.).

Sodatete Miryu? is now in stock here, but Himeya, too, was 'deceived'... (on a side note, what a high price!!! Why? The current yen-dollar exchange rate isn't so bad... ).

Yeah, I just read the link you put up for their product description. It reads...errr...well, like this:

  • One night, he has a sexual intercourse with the sheep and ejaculates into it.
  • When he wakes up next morning, he finds a cocoon where the sheep
    was sleeping.
  • A Girl appears from a cocoon then....

Now, with that in mind, are you sure this isn't like some bad National Lampoon's takeoff on a bishoujo game?

It’s just another proof that (ero)game resellers rarely play those same games .
Try the Demo Game for yourself and you will see the real synopsis, even with no knowledge of Japanese tongue.

Ah... I found this forum after checking my site's weekly "link results". I had heard of Peach Princess somewhere before, but I thought it was an off shoot of Princess Soft: not an American translation studio. Very nice. Wish I knew of it earlier.

I played erogames off an on for several years now, but I mainly stayed with gcleanh console dating games. Sakura Taisen and Sister Princess exposed me to the industry. My site languished in many forms for quite awhile, until I finally found my muse to do erogame reviews after noticing itfs a very empty niche (at least, for the English speaking side).

I assume this translation group deals specifically with Crowd titles (and its various sister studios), given the list of available titles and general posts on the forum? Ifll have to buy a title or two and try them out. Ifm really not a Crowd follower in general, but I can not deny that ˆç‚Ä‚Ä‚Ý‚è‚ãH looks very promising. Definitely something to keep a close eye on...

Ifll keep my fingers crossed that Peach Princess can secure the capital to expand its list of available Japanese partners. Granted, Ifm no fool and understand that gbig companiesh charge gbig pricesh for their licenses; but Ifve seen a few small timers produce good titles. Still... Ifm overjoyed to see something like Peach Princess exist and be successful.

I've sold my soul to Cyc, Kero Q, and Mediaworks.

Welcome aboard, Nargrakhan.

Not just Crowd, but also Will.

I agree. And, just in case, I have convinced Himeya of the bestiality of their Game Synopsis. Try looking their Sodatete Miryu? page, now.

What anti-sex game law? There isn’t a single such law still enforcable in the US. The US Supreme Court has struck them all down as abriding the rights of the consumers as well as the producers and merchants. The only thing illegal is that if you use living models, it falls under the pornography laws, and the producing studio has to keep records of all their models to prove they are actually 18 or older. However, there is no law that can be broken if all characters are purely fictional (all CG or drawn).

Now, the major retailers in the US won’t carry any game they view as pornographic in nature. For that, we all need to invest in Wal-mart, and then demand they carry them. Considering the number of outstanding shares, its going to take us a very long time to do this.

This one I can comment directly on since I happen to work for them. Overall shares of stock owned in the company, by percentage alone, are mainly held by Sam Walton's family (a majority at 49% to be exact.) Want to make a dent in that you'd be hard pressed.

However, that being said, when I first met "Mr. Sam" he openly opposed and banned certain record sales, items, from being sold in any of his outlets (example: Ozzy Osburne) Go to any Sam's, Super WM, etc, and you will find that has drastically changed now (especially after his passing.)

Sooo...could happen, just that odds are against it unless public perception changes (just as it has for Mr. Osburne, who was then called "the devil" by my mother....she now laughs and says "oh, he is so silly" from his MTV antics...strange, she burnt my collection of his when I was 17 back in the 80's....)

Mirk, I’m well aware of Wal-mart’s stance on many things. They are the #1 retailer in the US, and games of all forms are changed on a regular basis so that Wal-mart will carry them.

Wal-mart is going to have to be dragged into the 20th century. I expect it will only take another 50 years at the current rate. By the 22nd century, they may have caught up with everyone else.

Still, I keep reading of dating and hook up games going more and more mainstream, both in the US and in the EU, so there is hope.
