Unfortunately the game isn’t… they come from Apocalypse: Deus Ex Machina by Tactics - a REALLY shitty game that I REALLY recommend to avoid.
Such a shame when interesting looking characters go to waste… Seems to happen far to often anymore.

Maybe it’s because I’m too much of a traditionalist, but as of late, I’ve noticed a growing trend in twincest titles to use fraternal sisters. Now far from it for be to be hateful of twins, but if the girls aren’t identical, then what’s the bloody damn point? You could do the same with “regular” sisters. Isn’t the appeal of twincest, the entire “they look the same�� thing?
Stuff like having different color eyes (Hisui & Kohaku) or different breast sizes (Mana & Mayu) doesn’t bother me - that adds more character. Its just when you have two different designs being passed as twins, like the one below. I mean seriously: you could have said they’re not twins, and nothing would have changed.
Variegated girls are the key to success, (natural) clones are boring in the long term 8) .
They shouldn’t call it twincest though. It’s like labeling a carton of strawberry milk as chocolate milk. It’s both milk, but the flavor is different. :x

I think a key factor of making twincest work, is the hair…
If the twins have different hair style + hair texture + hair color, it REALLY makes too much a difference.
Different breast sizes. Different eye color. Hell, even different sex. None of these makes as much a difference as having different hair.
Take a look at Desu and Boku from Rozen Maiden. They have entirely different attire, personalties, and mirrored eyes. Yet if Boku grows her hair, she looks like Desu. If Desu cuts her hair, she looks like Boku. But if their hair was more radically different, then they really couldn’t have been passed off as twins IMHO.
I don’t expect twincest to be 100% the same - especially when the makers use lazy copy-pasting (its great to have twins, but give them unique paper dolls) - but at least have them like 90% similar. Using two totally different character designs, then calling them twins, is just insulting.
Why not just call Ryu and Ken (from Street Fighter) twins? :roll:
