There are so many things that I want o see in English T___T

I would love to see some otome games. I know this topic is beaten to death but…why not?
So lets start with Under the Moon. It looks like a nice start since it’s are under the Will branch and it’s popular for an 18+ otome game. A fan disc is going to be released soon :smiley:
Other options are Tsuki Hikari…
and Lovers Collection
Both of these companies aren’t really famous yet. Especially Ribbon Magic.So I imagine that a license wouldn’t be that much of a deal. I could be wrong though.

As for bishoujo games.

I really would love to see some games from high profile companies but that’s just wishful thinking. I woul love to see age soft titles but guess not. Or maybe a Lump of sugar title. I have itsusora myself and it seems to be quite a fun title.

Wow, Under the Moon and Love Drops mentioned repeatedly on the first page! Finally, someone else who knows about the game! And Princess Nightmare too! :slight_smile: Also, their male characters seem to fall into the ‘older male’ spectrum, and I find it kinda hot pairing a young female with a ‘mature’ male.

I’m not too sure about Ray or the games they released, but I’ll mention it here just for completeness.

Hopefully, PP will look more into the Otome games for their next release! Yo-Jin-Bo, hopefully, was the start of a new era in girls gaming!

I own a few otome games myself but Teramisu villa is one of my least fav. companies. Mainly because of the pretty flap series. There only good one has to be Dessert Love.

There upcoming game is Jingi Naki Otome

Tiaramode: Got there game butlers and the nightmode add on. The 18+ factor isn’t that high imo and somewhat disappointing after playing UTM but it has a fun story non the less. There upcoming product is Brothers. I have read the summary at Himeya shop and it sounds amusing already.

Aromarie: Have the first game and it’s really nice. Except for the moaning in the ero scenes lol. I like this game. Especially the possible

I’ve heard of the Butlers game , that does sound fun . I 'd like to see that translated someday , I’d totally buy that , but then I 'll probably buy any yaoi or otome games that get translated .

That’s right … ! Phantom Integration

I loved Hirameki’s Phantom of Inferno AnimePlay DVD. It’s what got me into Visual Novels and eventually lead me to Peach Princess and affiliate’s games…
Now from what little I know, Phantom of Inferno is the best selling Hirameki title, right? When asked about a PC version re-release, it sounds like it depends on how overwhelmingly well it must do. The original Phantom for PC had H-scenes that were edited out right?
I’m greatly interested in what differences and improvements Phantom Integration has to the original. I know from seeing these videos, that it looks more polished, especially the opening teaser video.

The reason I suggest this here of course, is if there are H-Scenes, Hirameki will not include them, and will edit it to some degree, leaving me forever wondering how important they might have been to the story…
If anyone knows if this is a major upgrade from the original version…
God, I’d be willing to shell out 100$ easily for one copy [I own multiple copies of Phantom!]
I love Phantom of Inferno obviously. If Peach Princess or one of its affiliates were to find a way to work with Hirameki through some good deal for both sides and get the rights to the game…

Unless the script is all new a lot of the translating work I would think would already be done. And at least, knowing what we know about Phantom now and everyone’s reactions, complaints, etc; you could maybe some way make it even better than it already is…??

Looking at what Peach Princess has released, would you guys be the ones to turn to? [this title is pretty different I guess, although I don’t know enough about the changed content] It’s a fact that the first sold pretty well, so it wouldn’t be too hard to hype this one, maybe open a whole new door of people…
This lurker loves Peach Princess, as well as Phantom, so I simply Had to try and ask…

You could even charge me 200$ - 250$ before I would get angry! Sigh…! [not including shipping!]

Well, I can tell you that sadly, Phantom Integration lacks voice acting that the original has. It’s a real shame, because that makes it lose a good deal of the atmosphere the original has. On the other hand, it’s nice to be able to control the pacing on the PC unlike the DVD version. My guess is that the original cast of Phantom didn’t really want to lend their likeness to the eroge scenes of Integration, but that’s just speculation.

Aside from the ero stuff, the other big difference I’m aware of between Integration and the original is that the player can choose Zwei’s weapon of choice before certain events in the storyline. Just how much of an impact does this have on the events? I’m really not sure. I’ve only played a short demo, and in the demo, Zwei succeeds in killing the traitorous military commander and joining Inferno no matter what weapon you choose. It adds a little more interaction to the game, but if it doesn’t offer any benefits or consequences, it’s a purely cosmetic addition.

I’d love to see Integration ported over as well, but as Phineas pointed out, PP can only translate and distribute titles from companies that they have a contract with. I’m pretty sure that at this point in time, there is nothing to indicate any sort of relationship between PP and Nitroplus…though I’d certainly love to see it. =P

Unfortunately, I’m not very educated on games outside of the domestic market, so I can’t make any substantial contribution to the thread itself… ^^()

You are definitely right though, I watch nearly all anime, etc in Japanese, rarely in english; and with something like this, I’d really like the fans to have a say in sorting through which voices end up sounding the part, and are able to voice well.
To tell the truth… the hentai voicing kinda slipped my mind for a minute…! That does complicate things greatly for grabbing a great actor. [besides every other problem] :frowning:
If the Japanese audio could be reinserted, I suppose it’s possible to create some kind of clever solution to the H-scenes or just leave them voiceless.
I guess I give up… for now… :wink:

I want to believe that they or any company will put out more Otome games,only one so far, and by the look of it, my hopes for any more Otome games are none. Not unless they release some before I kick the can, which, they won’t anyway. All my hopes for Otome games being in english, are gone. Their not interested in games like “under the moon”,at least that is what I get the feeling from. Their releasing more and more of regular H games, mostly for guys, that’s ok, but I’m not really interested in them. I like Bishounen games, Otome games. I don’t care for Yaoi, but since their are at least 2 or 3 games, I am thinking of getting them, cause I don’t like Bishoujo’s, I like Bishounens alot. I can’t help it, I’m a girl who likes Bishounens. SO Otome games are my dream games, which will never come true. Well, at least I have “Yo-Jin-Bo”, but I want more Otome games!

Just a note: Try DosBox. It’s an open source MS-DOS emulator. I find it works well for most of my old MS-DOS games. Learn how to use the command “mount”, and you should be all set.

Yeah, I know. :frowning: I feel like the only way that otome games are going to see the light of day here in the US is if I go out and start a company that does so, but I have no idea how to run a business, let alone start one, and to be honest, I’m not sure if that’s what I want to do.

This game is basically about a highschool student
who holds a strange power inside of himself.
Eventually he enters a parallel world in which he
combats fierce monsters and conquers the hearts of great looking chicks, some being his classmates who also travel between the worlds.
Its a hentai game from XUSE,
the artwork is superb and and the music epic.
This is a true gem.
A version without the hentai exists aswell,
I played the japanese h-version and the atmosphere just
drew me in and wouldnt let go of me. :wink:
