You subtract the last two zeros and that’s pretty much how much you have to pay in American currency. When you use credit cards, the banks and everything do the conversion for you. So you just have to find out how much it costs in American money before you buy it. Otherwise something that’s says 10 in a different currency might actually be 100 in American.

Thanks guys… I didn’t know it was so relatively easy (by the way, I knew the rough conversion rate–too many games of Cyberpunk, I think… I just wasn’t sure how the actual process worked)
It defintely varies. And with credit cards, it also depends on if they lock the rate at when you place the order or when they process the order. Granted there’s not much difference between a 108 and a 111 exchange rate, but it does make balancing your accounts a little more interesting…

i still think that lolis didn’t become popular until recent days (with the help of games like kanon), so i still think lolis have their own place and is going strong
I don’t know… it seems like all of the older games I can think of (at least that I’ve got] have lolis in them in some form or another. I couldn’t tell you about the older Japanese games, having not played them, but it seems like the American market has pretty much always had them (I’m including pseudo-lolis that have been “edited” in the text to appear older).

Heh, well besides the expense of a lot of figurines, I think the other thing keeping me from buying them is that my cat likes to hide them. Took me a week to find where Chi went. (Or at least I’m assuming it was the cat who moved her, you can never be too sure nowadays…)
